Minty Nguyen

Facilitator

Minty is a certified and experienced yoga teacher who has earned 200 hr and 300 hr YTT training, and additional certification in advanced yoga alignment. She has also received certifications in Reiki I & II, Craniosacral therapy, tantric and Thai massage.

Minty has been teaching at the ULU Yoga school for over 5 years and is now a lead instructor for yoga teacher trainings. She has facilitated women’s circles, meditation classes, authentic connection workshops, and guided meditation and somatic release sessions for hundreds of people.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California from immigrant Vietnamese parents, Minty has been passionate about helping others from a young age. She contributed to her mother’s non-profit, aiding orphans and students in Vietnam and finding ways to bridge the gap between the American and Vietnamese cultures, by teaching in classrooms and working on projects to underprivileged and disabled children. Through her teens and 20's, she worked in the food and service industry for 14 years, including managing a $3 million USD revenue restaurant on Venice Beach. From 2018-2019, she opened a wellness and retreat center in Koh Phangan, Thailand, named Ohana. This event and yoga space was a place for the community to gather for connection, meals, sauna, dancing, creative arts, music.

In 2018, she attended several retreats with Chris and Ariel, and began diving deeper into the understanding and healing of self-limiting beliefs, trauma experiences, and inner child work. KLF helped to broaden her experience in discovering what gives her the highest joy and deepest fulfilment, all the while giving her a community to support and share the ups and downs of life.

Minty's passion is to teach and guide others to be their best selves by helping them to understand and build connections between the mind, body and spirit. She believes that one of the key components to healing and expansion is through opening the heart, finding more compassion and joy for life. She hopes to make others feel safe, supported and inspired on their journey. Minty gets exceptionally excited about dancing, singing and getting to let her inner kid play with her friends.
