About the Event
This is a special workshop series from Kriya Lightning Foundation for the migrant domestic worker community in Hong Kong! We present this event in collaboration with Social Justice for Migrant Workers.
In this free workshop, you will practice:
Gentle yoga - Relaxing and energizing stretching & yogic techniques to calm the nervous system and relax the physical body.
Meditation / Open Awareness - A simple meditative technique to release stress that we have been developing for 10+ years. Open Awareness can be used to let go of any stress, tension, and negative emotions, so that you can feel lighter, calmer, and more peaceful!
This is a free event.
All migrant domestic workers or family / friends are welcome to join. No prior experience necessary.

About Kriya Lightning Foundation
The Kriya Lightning Foundation is a Hong Kong-based NGO dedicated to helping people around the world. What started off as two people figuring out how to deal with stress and emotional discomfort 10 years ago evolved into a journey to share discoveries of original techniques such as Open Awareness, to help others find peace and happiness within themselves.
We offer practical methods to train the mind and body to let go of attachments and resistances through meditative techniques. Our Open Awareness technique is a culmination of 10 years of refinement, designed with goals to help increase clarity and meet emotional challenges with proven results from our testimonials from our community.
Whether you’re looking to give meditation a try for the first time, or you’re an expert looking to expand your knowledge, our sessions and workshops cater to all who are looking to have a better relationship with themselves.
